These are the Tran-X crownwheel and pinion (CWP) sets specifically for the Peugeot BE3 and BE4 gearboxes. A CWP transfers power from the gearbox to the differential (LSD) and onwards to the wheels via the driveshafts and has significant impact on the overall final gearing. Matching the CWP ratio to the gears is essential for optimum engine performance. Machined from high tensile billet steel giving a 5kg weight saving over the original equipment and available in 4.77 and 5.08 ratios with the 26 or 27 tooth spline for the BE3 and BE4 gearboxes.
